The Electronic Board Repair Technician is responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and testing electronic circuit boards, ensuring their optimal performance. The role involves hands-on work with PCBs, soldering, component-level troubleshooting, and using diagnostic tools like oscilloscopes and multimeters. Collaboration with engineering and QA teams, adherence to safety protocols, and detailed documentation of repairs are essential duties.
Electronic Board Repair Technician – 1st Shift
Join our team! You’ll diagnose, repair, and test electronic circuit boards to ensure top performance. Hands-on work with PCBs, component-level troubleshooting, and preventative maintenance are key parts of the role.
Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and repair PCBs (soldering, replacing, reworking components)
- Use oscilloscopes, multimeters, and diagnostic tools
- Read schematics and wiring diagrams
- Test, calibrate, and document repairs
- Collaborate with engineering/QA teams and follow safety/ESD protocols
Qualifications:
- HS diploma required; electronics degree/certification preferred
- 2+ years board-level repair experience
- Skilled in soldering, rework, and diagnostic equipment
- Knowledge of SMT and through-hole components
- Strong problem-solving, detail orientation, and teamwork skills
