Locum Tenens Anesthesiologist near Brooker, FloridaStart Date: March 5, 2025 Full-Time Availability Required We are actively seeking a Board-Certified Anesthesiologist for a locum tenens opportunity in Florida. This full-time role offers the chance to work in a dynamic and collaborative setting, delivering high-quality anesthesia services across a diverse range of surgical specialties. Key Responsibilities: Administer anesthesia for a range of cases including cardiac, orthopedics, general surgery, neurosurgery, vascular, endoscopy, gynecology, robotics, and trauma. Work collaboratively with CRNAs who perform procedures such as regional blocks, spinals, and central and arterial line placements. Participate in weekday shifts from Monday to Friday, with a typical schedule of either four 10-hour shifts or three 12-hour shifts. Provide on-call support during weekdays with an optional preference for weekend calls. Qualifications: Board Certified in Anesthesiology (Board Eligible candidates will not be considered). Possess an active Florida medical license. Minimum of 2 years of recent experience in a similar role. Current certifications in ACLS and BLS are mandatory. Must have a clean professional record and meet all credentialing requirements within an estimated 90-day period. Additional Information: Electronic Medical Records (EMR) system: iProcedures. Providers must be cross-credentialed at West Marion Community Hospital, although it is rare for locums to be called to this site.
