OB/GYN Hospitalist Medical Director - Salisbury, MD
Position Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced OB/Gyn physician to lead a new hospitalist program as Medical Director. This leadership role will oversee a dedicated team of OB/Gyn hospitalists providing inpatient women s healthcare, including labor and delivery management, unassigned patient coverage, and general OB/Gyn services. You will play a critical role in establishing clinical standards, fostering a collaborative team culture, and advancing maternal health outcomes within the community.
Position Highlights
- Lead a team of five OB/Gyn physicians in a newly launched hospitalist program
- Enjoy 24-hour in-house shifts with flexible scheduling
- 6 8 shifts per month
- Influence quality of care and set clinical standards within the department

- Participate in clinical drills and simulations
- Level III NICU and strong community OB/Gyn backup
