Position Overview: Profession: Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) Start Date: ASAP Contract Length: Ongoing Shift Details: Standard shift: 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM, Monday to Friday Scheduled coverage with no on-call requirements Overtime is available after scheduled shifts Work Details: Procedures: Work in a hospital setting with 11 ORs in the main operating room and 2 in the ambulatory center Daily case load includes a mix of ortho, ortho trauma, general, general trauma, spine, neuro, cath lab, ambulatory, and endoscopy Average of 50-60 cases per day Hospital bed size: 317 CRNAs will be involved in a variety of procedures, requiring recent hospital experience Department Description: The department includes multiple specialties, such as orthopedics, trauma, general surgery, and more The CRNA will be part of a collaborative anesthesia care team Use of Cerner and SaAnesthesia for EMR and charting Interview Process: Candidates will be interviewed by phone with the supervising anesthesiologist Requirements: Board Certification: CRNA (NBCRNA required) Licensure: Active Arizona license required Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) or Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) required DEA: Active DEA license required Experience: Recent hospital experience is a must Experience with Cerner is preferred Practice Setting: Setting: Hospital Beds: 317 This CRNA locum tenens position near Cameron, AZ, offers an excellent opportunity to work in a fast-paced hospital environment with a diverse range of cases.
