A Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) position is available for an experienced professional in a hospital and ambulatory surgical center setting in Fredericksburg, VA. This locum tenens role requires expertise in OB and thoracic procedures, with pediatric experience preferred. You will work 12-hour night shifts (7:00 PM to 7:00 AM) across multiple locations, assisting with a variety of cases excluding transplants. Emergency privileges are provided for holiday coverage, and the role requires Level 2 trauma experience.

Job Responsibilities- Administer anesthesia for surgical and non-surgical procedures.- Provide care in obstetrics, thoracic, and various other specialties.- Perform and manage spinals and epidural placements.- Float between hospital operating rooms and ambulatory surgical centers.
Qualifications- Valid VA nursing license or in process- AHA certifications required- Minimum of 2 years of experience in an acute care setting- Clean background for emergency privileges- Proficiency in obstetrics and thoracic cases
Working Hours- 12-hour night shifts, 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM- Full-time, 36+ hours per week- Schedule planned 8 weeks in advance
Skills- Strong expertise in spinals, epidurals, and managing anesthesia independently- Ability to work under pressure in trauma settings- Effective communication and teamwork skills- Pediatric anesthesia experience preferred
