Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a CVICU position requiring a VA or compact RN license and at least one year of recent specialty experience.
Responsibilities
- Position is in a Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU) within a critical care services department
- Day shift schedule from 7:00AM to 7:00PM
- 13-week travel contract assignment
- Work involves care of critically ill cardiovascular patients
- Responsible for providing specialized nursing care to cardiovascular patients in an intensive care setting
- May be required to submit additional documentation including references, skills checklist, nursing license verification, and copies of certifications
- Compliance with facility policies and procedures is expected
Requirements
- Active VA or compact RN license required
- Minimum of one year recent CVICU or relevant critical care nursing experience
- Current AHA or ARC BLS and ACLS certifications required, with certifications valid for at least 30 days past start date
- No work history gaps of 90 days or more in the past 12 months
- U.S. Social Security Number and date of birth required for consideration
