About the Cancer Center:
- Comprehensive Services: Full-service cancer center offering diverse treatment options
- Experienced Team:
- Five full-time Medical Oncologists
- Two Radiation Oncologists
- Only Gynecologic Oncologist in the region
- Specialized Surgeons, including Colon & Rectal, Head & Neck, Breast, and Thoracic Cancer Surgeons
- Support Network: Extensive medical specialty support, including Surgery, Radiology, Pathology, Pulmonology, Cardiovascular and Thoracic Surgery, Neurology, and extended medical staff across three facilities
- Infusion Services: Two full-service infusion units with 100% RN staff for infusion and clinic support
- Research Opportunities: Well-defined research/trials department
- Physician Support: Strong physician assistant service for benign hematology follow-ups, lower acuity oncology follow-ups, and triaging inpatient consults
- Radiation Therapy: Comprehensive radiation therapy options at our Pascagoula location, including IMRT, IGRT, SBRT, SRS, and HDR
Candidate Requirements:
- Board Certification: Board Certified or Board Eligible in Hematology/Medical Oncology
- Commitment: Strong desire to provide high-quality cancer care in an ACS-accredited Cancer Center
