Position Overview
A major academic medical center in Worcester, Massachusetts is seeking locum CRNAs to join a large and dynamic anesthesia care team across multiple inpatient and outpatient sites. Providers will be exposed to a wide variety of complex cases in a collaborative environment, with flexible scheduling and no call requirements. Multiple shift lengths are available. This is a high-priority request with ongoing needs starting September 2025. Assignment Highlights

- Flexible scheduling with 12-, 16-, 18-, and 24-hour shifts
- No call required
- EMR: Epic
- Wide case variety: general, ENT, trauma, transplant, neurosurgery, orthopedics, OB, and cardiac
- Regionals performed by MDs only - no blocks expected of CRNAs
- No AAs on the care team - CRNA-only model
- Multiple sites of care:
- Estimated start date: September 1, 2025
- Orientation and onboarding process includes a phone interview with both a physician and administrator
- Prepaid travel and lodging
- Medical malpractice insurance provided at no cost
- HPA Healthcare is a Joint Commission-certified staffing agency
- Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA)
- Active Massachusetts RN and APRN licenses required (open to licensing for clean-file candidates)
- CRNA board certification required
- Must be comfortable managing a broad case mix in a large academic system
- Prior trauma, OB, and inpatient hospital experience preferred
- No regionals required
