Chef de Cuisine Responsibilities
- Lead daily kitchen operations and uphold high culinary standards
- Improve existing dishes through enhanced technique, flavor, and presentation
- Partner with leadership on menu development and seasonal updates
- Train and mentor kitchen staff to ensure consistency and strong skills
- Manage ordering, inventory, and food costs to meet financial goals
Chef de Cuisine Qualifications
- 3–5+ years of leadership experience in high-volume, upscale scratch kitchens
- Strong culinary technique, palate, and understanding of kitchen operations
- Proven ability to enhance or refine existing menus
- Solid experience training, developing, and motivating kitchen teams
- Knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and kitchen financials
