What You'll Do:
- Carry out security-related procedures and site-specific policies in accordance with Allied Universal guidelines, providing customer service to all visitors, staff, and vendors at the location.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, utilizing de-escalation techniques when appropriate.
- Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the facility, including the perimeter and designated areas, to help to deter unauthorized activity and maintain a visible presence.
- Monitor entrances, exits, and restricted areas to help to deter unauthorized access and report suspicious activity.
- Assist with emergency response activities as required, following established protocols for the food and beverage environment.
- Complete detailed reports and documentation of incidents, observations, and daily activities as required by Allied Universal and site management.
- Collaborate with site personnel and local law enforcement as needed to address security-related concerns or incidents.
- Maintain a professional demeanor and appearance while representing Allied Universal at the location.
Minimum Requirements:
- Have at least 1 year of armed security, law enforcement, or military experience.
- Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
- Possess an armed guard card or license.
- Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
