Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Wash dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, and pans using dishwashers or by hand, ensuring all items are clean and sanitized.
Maintain cleanliness in the kitchen and dishwashing area, including sweeping, mopping, and taking out trash.
Ensure that all kitchen areas, equipment, and utensils are clean, organized, and ready for use.
Assist with food preparation tasks as needed, including chopping vegetables, preparing ingredients, and assembling dishes.
Keep storerooms and refrigerators clean and organized, ensuring all items are properly stored.
Help receive and store deliveries, ensuring all items are correctly accounted for and stored properly.
Report any maintenance or safety issues to your supervisor immediately.
Support your team by performing other duties as assigned to ensure a smooth and efficient kitchen operation.
Maintain a positive and friendly attitude with coworkers and contribute to a supportive team environment.

General responsibilities when working a Dishwasher job assignment can include:
- Collect used kitchenware from dining and or kitchen areas
- Load and unload dishwashing machine, ensure complete cleanliness and sanitation of dishes
- Hand wash specific items according to assigned procedures
- Store and restock clean kitchenware
- Maintain cleaning supplies stock, transfer cleaning supplies between storage and work area
- Keep a clean and orderly workstation
- Comply with all sanitation and safety policies and procedures
- Wash work tables and other food prep areas to cleanliness standards
