Travel Nurse Job Details

• Location: Great Barrington, Massachusetts (01230) – Southern Berkshires, offering vibrant arts, outdoor recreation, and a welcoming healthcare community
• Assignment Length: 13-week travel nursing contract
• Start Date: December 29, 2025
• Shift: 12-hour nights (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM)
• Hours per Week: 36
• Weekend/Holiday: Every other weekend and holidays as needed
• On-Call: Yes/TBD
• Type: Travel RN position

Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of recent Labor & Delivery nursing experience
• Postpartum and Mother-Baby nursing experience required
• Bachelor's degree or higher in Nursing (BSN) required
• Active Massachusetts Registered Nurse license
• Certifications: BLS (AHA), NRP, STABLE
• Must have own vehicle for assignment (Massachusetts travel nurse requirement)
• Permanent address must be included with application
• Profile must include work history, skills checklist (current within 1 year), and 1 supervisory reference from the past 2 years
• All requested time off (max 3 days) must be submitted with application
• Travelers must reside at least 50 miles from the facility (per travel nursing guidelines)

Labor & Delivery Nurse Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive nursing care to laboring mothers and newborns in a supportive, family-centered environment
• Collaborate with obstetricians, midwives, and lactation consultants to ensure individualized patient care
• Monitor maternal and fetal well-being, assist with deliveries, and provide postpartum care
• Educate and support families throughout the birthing process
• Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to hospital protocols and safety standards
• Participate in orientation and ongoing professional development as a healthcare professional
