Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Pediatric Acute Care Float Pool role requiring a MO or compact RN license and pediatric experience.
Responsibilities
- Work in the Pediatric Acute Care Float Pool within a hospital setting
- Float between pediatric acute care units within the same facility and occasionally to nearby locations as needed
- Day shift position with 3x12 hour shifts, 7:00 to 19:00
- 13-week assignment
- Local candidates accepted at the same rate
- Must be willing to float only to units with similar pediatric acuity
- First-time travelers are welcome to apply
- Nicotine-free campus; hospital tests for nicotine use
- Flexible scheduling is preferred
Requirements
- Active MO or compact RN license required at time of consideration
- American Heart Association BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required and must be current
- At least one completed travel assignment required
- Clean Nursys report required
- Pediatric or pediatric med-surg nursing experience required
- Date of birth and Social Security number required for consideration
- Two supervisor-level references within the last 12 months required
