We are seeking a Board-Certified Internal Medicine or Family Practice Physician for an exciting locum tenens Hospitalist opportunity near Beaumont, TX. This role offers the chance to practice in a supportive, community-focused hospital setting within the lush landscapes of East Texas. Position Highlights Shift Details: 12-hour in-house day shifts: 8 AM 8 PM. In-house call coverage: 8 PM 8 AM (must be within 30 minutes of the facility). Coverage Requirements: 7 shifts per rotation (flexible schedule available). Includes weekend and on-call responsibilities. Facility Details 49 total beds with 7 ED beds. No ICU coverage required. ED annual volume: 7,452 patients. Average patient load: 1-8 per shift. Hospitalists are expected to intubate with assistance from the ED physician. Admission rate: 10%. Requirements Active Texas medical license and DEA. Board Certification in Internal Medicine or Family Practice. ACLS, PALS, and DEA certification. Ability to perform intubations. Clean malpractice and background record. Additional Information The hospital is located a short drive from Beaumont, TX, and is easily accessible from surrounding metropolitan areas.
