Certification: BLS and Board Certification in Diagnostic and Interventional RadiologyClinical ScopeDirect Patient Care 100 %Shall be responsible for providing (Interventional) Radiology procedures, including, but not limited: Drainage Procedure/image cath fluid collection, Artery x-rays arm/leg(Angiogram)/Place catheter in vein, Repair of tunnel central venous catheter/Venogram, Echo guide with Biopsy/Exploration of abdomen, Insert tunneled cv cath (PORT placement or removal)/ Repair of tunnel central venous catheter, Fistulogram/Insertion/Removal, Lung Biopsy, Percutaneous chest tube insertion, Angioplasty with stenting/Trluml balo angiop addl artery, TACE (Embolization), IVC Filter, Cryoablation Kidney Tumor.Communicating Test Results to Providers and Patients.Shall provide consultation with and instruction to referring physicians regarding appropriate indications for Interventional radiologic procedures so that the most expeditious and clinically appropriate work-up can be done.
