Job Title: Locum - Physician - General Medicine in Houston, NM
Join a dynamic team in Houston, New Mexico, dedicated to serving our nation's Veterans through Compensation & Pension exams and Separation Health Assessments. Job Responsibilities:
- Conduct PRN (as needed) examination and assessment for Veterans.
- Perform interviews and physical assessments, including range of motion and muscle strength testing.
- Complete one-time, non-treatment Compensation & Pension exams.
- Submit reports and addendums based on the outcome of the exams.
- Participate in quick credentialing and onboarding processes.
- Optional work half days (4 hours) or full days (8 hours).
- Collaborate with other medical professionals to ensure quality care.
Qualifications:
- Proficient in METs testing and evaluating respiratory and cardiovascular health.
- Possess a valid AANP certification.
- Active and unrestricted full medical license.
- Experience in family medicine, internal medicine, orthopedic surgery, or general medicine.
- Must own a non-Mac laptop to perform necessary tasks.
- Willingness to complete DMA training and certification.
License and Certification Requirements:
- Current and active medical license.
- AANP certification is required.
- Must complete DMA training to become DMA certified.
