The role is a 50/50 split between two acute-care facilities offering advanced OR technology, multidisciplinary collaboration, and robust referral volume. This position offers an exciting opportunity to practice at two leading facilities in the greater Orlando area, serving the communities of Clermont and Ocoee with state-of-the-art neurosurgical care.
Practice Split: 50% South Lake Hospital (Clermont) / 50% Health Central Hospital (Ocoee)

Position Highlights
- Subspecialty Focus: Spine surgery (candidates with dual spine and cranial capabilities are highly desirable but not required)
- Practice Model: Hospital-employed position with competitive compensation and comprehensive benefits
- Clinical Volume: Robust referral network with established patient base across both locations
- Surgical Access: Advanced operating rooms equipped with modern neurosurgical technology including navigation systems, intraoperative imaging, and neurophysiological monitoring
- Collaborative Environment: Work alongside a multidisciplinary team including orthopedic spine surgeons, pain management specialists, and rehabilitation services
- MD or DO degree from an accredited institution
- Completion of accredited neurosurgery residency
- Board certified or board eligible by the American Board of Neurological Surgery
- Active or eligible for Florida medical license
- DEA license
- Advanced training in complex spine surgery (degenerative, deformity, trauma, tumor)
- Experience with minimally invasive spine techniques
- Proficiency in both cervical and lumbar spine procedures
- Cranial neurosurgery capabilities (significant advantage but not mandatory)
- Strong commitment to patient-centered care and clinical excellence
