Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Telemetry Med-Surg Registered Nurse to join our team. Ideal candidates will have experience in a hospital setting, specifically within telemetry and med-surgical units. This role requires an active VA or Compact nursing license and proficiency in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS).
Responsibilities
- Monitor patient vitals and EKGs using Carescape monitors.
- Manage patient care with a focus on telemetry and med-surgical needs.
- Perform procedures including small incision and drainage, peritoneal dialysis, and occasionally thoracentesis.
- Participate in a multidisciplinary team and ensure optimal patient-focused care.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in a hospital setting.
- Active VA or Compact nursing license.
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
- Ability to pass a Basic Rhythm test.
