Recruiter -Chelsea - Call/Text anytime! - *Previous PCU RN with bedside experience, ready to assist you with all of your next contract needs!
Ability to care for 4-5 PCU patients/ post cardiac procedures to include: PCI, PPM, ICD Ablations, CABG, TAVRS. Ability to care for patients with Traches, Chest Tubes, titrating drips, CIWA, and strokes. Proficient in reading telemetry strips. Time management to include plans of care every shift, collaboration with physicians and ancillary departments. Discharge planning and patient education. Advanced skills needed: Phlebotomy Nurses administer breathing treatments outside of the ICU (Respiratory treatments: inhalers and nebulizers) Foley Catheter care and maintenance (with nurse driven protocols for removal) Telemetry Post ICU Patients
