Diverse Caseload:Expand your experience by providing anesthesia for a wide range of surgical procedures, including general, vascular, orthopedic, urology, plastics, dental, interventional radiology (IR), carpal tunnel release (CDL), thoracic, pediatric, neurologic, cardiac, and endoscopy procedures. Collaborative Environment:Work alongside a team of dedicated surgeons, nurses, and other healthcare professionals in a supportive setting. Utilize Cerner, the electronic medical records system used at the facilities. Key Responsibilities: Collaborate with surgeons and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement safe and effective anesthesia plans for patients of all ages, in both inpatient and outpatient settings. Administer various anesthetic medications and monitor patients throughout the surgical process, ensuring their well-being and safety. Document patient care accurately and efficiently within the Cerner electronic medical records system. Participate in pre-operative assessments and post-operative care as needed. Maintain a strong focus on patient safety and communication with all members of the surgical team. Qualifications for Success: Current national certification as a CRNA (NBCRNA) is mandatory. Valid and active registered nurse (RN) license and CRNA license in the state of West Virginia are required. We are willing to assist with licensure if needed. Current certifications in ACLS, BLS, and PALS are mandatory. Minimum of 2 years of experience as a CRNA is required. Experience using Cerner, the electronic medical records system used at the facilities, is preferred. Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills to build rapport with patients, surgeons, and staff. The ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a team environment is crucial.
