Weekend coverage assignment (Friday Monday)
Schedule: 6 AM 6 AM (inpatient and call only, no clinic)
Inpatient team support from 3 Advanced Practice Providers (APPs) working alongside the cardiologist
EMR: Cerner
Responsibilities: Comprehensive inpatient cardiology care, hospital call, and coordination with APP team
Echocardiography
Treadmill stress tests
Chemical stress tests
Strong ability to interpret diagnostic studies
Michigan participates in the Interstate Medical Licensure Compact (IMLC), making the licensing process quick and efficient for qualified physicians.
