Job Details:

• Provide procedural support to physicians including hemodynamic and electrophysiologic monitoring
• Maintain sterile technique and radiologic support during procedures
• Operate specialized equipment according to protocols (IVUS, pressure wire, IABP, EPT systems, etc.)
• Assist physicians with specialized equipment during cardiovascular procedures
• Perform patient care appropriate to the patient population in sterile environment
• Transport patients to and from department as needed
• Maintain well-stocked and clean work environment through stocking and environmental scrub downs
• Set up procedure rooms each morning including transducers and equipment
• Perform departmental functions within Epic system
• Attend vendor in-services to learn new equipment and support new technologies
• Attend mandatory in-services and meet department educational standards
• Complete variance reports and modify performance to comply with care standards
• Required education: Completion of accredited Radiologic Technology Program OR RCIS credentials
• Required certifications: ARRT-R and/or RCIS registration, CPR and ACLS within one year
• Must have Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and BLS certification through AHA
• Preferred skills include Interventional Cardiology, Interventional Radiology, and NIHSS
• Effective communication skills and ability to work with healthcare professionals at all levels
