Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an ICU role on an acuity adaptable unit, requiring a WI or compact license and strong ICU background.
Responsibilities
- Work in an acuity adaptable unit within a hospital critical care setting
- Night shift schedule from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
- 13-week contract assignment
- Floating may be required onsite within skillset or to nearby sites within 40 miles
- Unit serves a diverse critical care patient population with ICU-level needs
- Utilizes Epic EMR system
- Responsibilities include providing comprehensive critical care nursing in an acuity adaptable environment
- Weekend and holiday shifts may be required as needed
- May be required to float within the hospital or to other facilities within a 40-mile radius
- Epic charting experience is required
- All positions are auto offer through the system
- Local candidates are accepted but will be offered a reduced rate according to state-specific radius rules
- COVID-19 vaccination is not required
- Proof of references, certifications, and license verification will be needed for consideration
Requirements
- Active WI or compact RN license required
- Minimum of 2 years recent ICU nursing experience
- Current AHA BLS and ACLS certifications required
- NIH Stroke Scale certification required (annual or biennial depending on group)
- Nursys license verification required within 30 days prior to assignment start
- Must possess a valid US Social Security Number and a US home address
