Job Description
We are seeking an experienced CVICU Nurse with a minimum of 2-3 years of clinical experience in cardiovascular intensive care. The ideal candidate will have competencies in managing high acuity postoperative cardiac and vascular surgery patients in the ICU, focusing on advanced hemodynamic monitoring.
Responsibilities
- Provide care for immediate postoperative cardiac and vascular surgery patients.
- Monitor and manage high acuity patients with advanced hemodynamic requirements.
- Efficiently manage ventilators, arterial lines, spinal drains, and ECG interpretation.
- Administer and titrate vasoactive and inotropic drips as required.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
- 2-3 years of experience in CVICU nursing.
- Epic experience is required.
- Competency test required within 24 hours of submission.
- Navy blue scrubs are required.
