Job DescriptionWe are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse for our Progressive Care Unit (PCU) to provide high-quality care to patients with complex medical conditions. The RN will be responsible for patient monitoring, administering medications, and coordinating care with the healthcare team.
Responsibilities- Monitor patients' vital signs and overall health status regularly.
- Administer medications and IV therapies as prescribed.
- Perform necessary medical procedures and interventions.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement care plans.
- Provide education and support to patients and their families.
- Minimum of 1 year clinical experience in a Progressive Care Unit or similar setting.
- Active New York nursing license.
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications are required.
- Telemetry experience within the past 2 years is essential.
- NIHSS certification required prior to start.
