A board-certified pediatric neurologist is needed for a permanent locum position in Pennsylvania to provide inpatient and outpatient care. Responsibilities include managing 8-12 patients daily, handling on-call duties including weekend rounding, and performing EEG interpretation. The provider must have an active Pennsylvania license, EPIC experience, and comply with vaccination and DEA requirements.
Coverage Needed:
- ASAP - Ongoing
- 8a-5p with an hour break for lunch
- Potential call - weekend/night
Clinical Information:
- 8-12 patients a day
- Volume: 2-4 calls/night (if call is taken)
- On Call: Would need to round on inpatients on weekends if weekend call taken
- Inpatient: Phone calls related to night call (see below) if call is taken
- Outpatient: Standard office practice work (new and follow up visits, Epic inbox messages, patient calls, etc.)
- Supporting staff: Office administrative staff, nurses
Required:
- Board Certified
- Active PA License
- EPIC Experience highly preferred
- Procedures required: EEG interpretation (preferred)
- DEA must remain in state to maintain privileges. Provider must be willing transfer and maintain DEA in state for the duration of privileges being active, or obtain a new in state DEA to remain in state for the duration of privileges being active
- Current Flu Vaccine
- Must be fully vaccinated for Covid 19
- Exemptions only allowed for religious or medical reasons, once approved by the facility.
