Under general supervision, performs vascular andechocardiography ultrasound examinations for patients. Participates in a variety of specializedtechnical evaluation procedures, including analyzing digitized electrocardiography(ECG) tapes, Holter monitoring, cardiac ultrasound and echocardiography, andgenerating quantitative arrhythmia reports.
Minimum Requirements:
- Associate’s degree or experience in a related fieldpreferred and/or per state requirements
- One (1) year of experience as a Cardiovascular technicianpreferred
- Current CPR if applicable
- TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable
- Current Health certificate (per contract or stateregulation)
- Must meet all federal, state and local requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age
ARDMS,RCS, or RDCS
Minimum1-year dedicated experience in adult cardiac sonography
Experiencein stress echocardiography (stress echo) or transesophageal echocardiography(TEE) is not required but is preferred
Echoexperience required
