Job Details:
• Work in a 24/7 Emergency Department serving approximately 14,000 patient visits annually
• 2+ years of current ED experience in a hospital setting required
• 3 months minimum travel experience preferred
• Bachelor's degree preferred
• Must have own vehicle for transportation
• Block scheduling will not be approved for this position
• 48-hour guarantee is not available
• No more than 10 days of requested time off will be accepted
• All scheduling requests must be made at time of submission - no requests approved after offer
• Required certifications: ACLS (AHA), PALS (AHA), TNCC, BLS (AHA)
• Vermont RN license or Compact license required
• Skills checklist for Emergency Department must be current within 1 year
• One supervisory signed reference from within past two years required
• All certifications must be in hand to be considered
• Local travelers residing within 50 miles of facility are not eligible
• Screen patients upon arrival to determine severity of condition and appropriate treatment
• Work with fully staffed emergency department team around the clock
