Shift: Days, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM, Monday – Friday, 5x8hr shifts
Call Requirements:

• Minimum 1 weekday per week

• Weekend rotation

• On-call shifts Monday – Friday 3:30 PM – 7:00 AM, Saturday & Sunday 7:00 AM – 7:00 AM

Role Summary:
The Operating Room RN demonstrates critical thinking, clinical judgment, and leadership in anticipating and planning patient care in the OR. As part of the surgical team, the RN collaborates with Surgeons, Anesthesiologists, OR Technologists, and other personnel to deliver care according to physician orders, hospital policies, the State Nurse Practice Act, AORN standards, and regulatory guidelines. Responsibilities include ensuring supplies are prepared, maintaining case timeliness, updating physician preference cards, communicating with families, scrubbing and assisting during surgical cases, and supervising personnel delivering patient care.

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years’ OR experience required

• BLS, ACLS, PALS required

• Experience with general surgery, orthopedic, OBGYN, podiatry, plastics, endoscopy, and trauma procedures

• Experience with both adult and pediatric patients
