Primary Location Aspirus Wausau Hospital
Shift Requirements: 12 hr day/night variables
Float to all inpatient units as needed- will float to IMC and CTU units
On Call/Call Back Requirements: None
Weekend/Holiday Requirements: Every other weekend and every other holiday
Required Certifications: WI RN License, BLS. ACLS required NIHSS highly preferred. Will have to take an EKG exam during compliance
Minimum Experience: 3 years. 1 travel assignment REQUIRED
Charting Experience: EPIC REQUIRED.
Unit Information: 8 bed unit Background in observation units, or MS/Tele units. Ability to read and interpret strips is required. Will have to take an EKG exam during compliance Patient Ratio 1:4
Observation unit. Anemia, Cellulitis, COPD, Dehydration, pre and post-op Urology and GI, Drips ( Cardiac Cardizem, Nitro ,Insulin, Heparin) Average stay up to 48 hrs. High amount of admissions and discharges
Desired skillset: Hard worker, Resilient and Manages Change well, Social candidates: Able to manage independently and complete tasks timely, willingness to ask questions and collaborate with team and ancillary staff to ensure the best patient experience possible. Positive attitude and flexibility with constant changes which can occur throughout a shift.
