As a locum provider, you will contribute to the ongoing success of our oncology services, with flexibility during your assignment and opportunities for ongoing engagement. Required Skills: Valid medical license in South Carolina or the ability to obtain one efficiently Board certification in Oncology or Hematology/Oncology Proven experience managing adult and geriatric oncology patients Proficiency with EPIC EMR system Ability to participate in tumor boards and management of complex cases Strong clinical knowledge in outpatient and inpatient oncology settings Effective communication and teamwork skills Nice to Have Skills: Experience with Bone Marrow Transplants or Blood Bank management Familiarity with chemotherapy administration protocols Additional certifications in Hematology or Oncology specialties Prior experience in a free-standing cancer center setting Preferred Education and Experience: Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution Minimum of 2 years of post-residency oncology practice Prior locum or temporary staffing experience preferred Other Requirements: Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Credentialing process expected to take approximately 60 days Ability to work weekdays, no mandatory call during the locum period; call expected if placed permanently, typically 1 week out of every 6-8 weeks Travel expenses such as flights, hotels, rental cars, and mileage reimbursed at IRS standard rates This is a rewarding opportunity with a competitive hourly pay rate of $19.50.
