The Family Birthplace provides:
- Private labor and delivery rooms with subdued lighting
- Infant warmers and fetal monitoring equipment
- Dedicated ORs for Cesarean sections
- 24/7 anesthesia and delivery services
Nursing staff work closely with obstetricians and midwives to support individualized birth plans. Experienced OB nurses and lactation consultants provide hands-on education and support for both mother and baby.
Position Requirements
- Experience:
- Minimum 2 years of current Labor & Delivery experience
- Postpartum / Mother-Baby experience required
- Education:
- Bachelor’s Degree (BSN or higher) required
- Licensure:
- Active Massachusetts RN license
- Certifications (must be in hand at submission):
- Transportation:
- Traveler must have their own vehicle
Schedule & Call
- On-Call: Yes (TBD)
- Weekends: Every other weekend
- Holidays: Required if needed
Time Off & Scheduling (Strict Policy)
- All RTO must be submitted at time of upload
- No more than 3 days of RTO (less is preferred)
- RTO requests after submission will NOT be approved
- Scheduling requests after offer may result in a rescinded offer
