Opportunity:

Job Details:
• Work in Emergency Department with consistent weekly work schedule
• Schedule includes some weekends and holidays
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for emergency patients
• Provide direct patient care based on physician orders and nursing care plans
• Complete patient assessments and reassessments according to policy requirements
• Formulate discharge plans and collaborate with multidisciplinary team members
• Document all nursing interventions and patient responses in medical records
• Delegate and supervise activities of healthcare team members as appropriate
• Provide patient and family education regarding treatment plans
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and professional development activities
• Current valid RN license required in state of practice or compact licensure
• BLS certification required
• Minimum one year acute care hospital experience required
• Experience in acute care setting within past 12 months preferred
• Bachelor's degree and professional certification preferred
• Must maintain clinical performance competencies through annual validations
