This opportunity is ideal for a Physical Therapist seeking a consistent daytime schedule, full-time hours, and the chance to make a meaningful impact in a long-term care setting.

Position Details

• Setting: Long-Term Care (LTC)

• Contract Length: 13 weeks

• Hours: 5x8s | 40 hours guaranteed

• Compensation:$2,500 per week

• Start Date: ASAP or upon credentialing

Job Responsibilities

• Evaluate residents and develop individualized physical therapy treatment plans

• Deliver skilled physical therapy services focused on improving mobility, strength, balance, and functional independence

• Accurately document evaluations, progress notes, and discharge summaries per facility and regulatory guidelines

• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including nursing, occupational therapy, speech therapy, and physicians

• Educate residents, families, and caregivers on exercises, mobility strategies, and safety techniques

• Maintain a high standard of patient-centered care in a long-term care environment

Education & Certification Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program (DPT or equivalent)

• Active Missouri Physical Therapist license (or ability to obtain)

• Current BLS certification

• Previous LTC or skilled nursing experience preferred

• Strong communication, documentation, and clinical skills
