Respiratory Therapist – Full Time
Location: Spirit Lake, IA (Iowa Great Lakes Region)
Job Overview:
Join a fast-paced Inpatient and Outpatient Respiratory Therapy and Pulmonary Rehab department. This role provides care across all age groups—from newborns to geriatrics—while delivering compassionate, patient-centered service at Lakes Regional Healthcare. Responsibilities include daily floor therapies, responding to codes, airway management, and performing diagnostic testing as ordered. The RT also assists with clerical, clinical, and scheduling duties and keeps the Respiratory Care Supervisor updated on patient care activities.
Requirements:
- Graduate of an accredited Respiratory Care Program
- Registered or registry-eligible with NBRC
- Iowa Respiratory Care Practitioner license (or ability to obtain)
- BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP certifications (or willingness to obtain)
- Mandatory Reporter certification per policy
- Experience preferred
