As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol government locations, helping to deter security-related incidents and providing a strong visible presence. You will carry out routine patrols and interact with the public, demonstrating professionalism and exceptional customer service. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the government location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and sensitive areas to help to deter unauthorized access and/or activities.
• Maintain a visible presence to help to deter potential issues and provide assistance as needed.
• Complete detailed reports on incidents, observations, and activities during each shift.
• Collaborate with law enforcement and/or emergency personnel when required.
• Adhere to all protocols for handling and carrying firearms as an armed security professional.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess a valid concealed carry weapons permit.
• Have at least 6 months of security-related experience.
• Possess a valid armed guard card or armed guard license.
• Provide proof of high school diploma or GED as required by the client.
• A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
