Opportunity:

RN - ICU

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• 4 total weekend shifts required per 4-week schedule
• Holiday work based on unit needs
• Must have Level I trauma experience
• ICU experience required, CVICU preferred
• Patient ratios of 1:1-2 with high number of 1:1 assignments
• Float to other ICUs and telemetry units (4:1 ratio on tele)
• Must float to Westgate facility when requested
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS (CCRN preferred)
• Must pass dysrhythmia exam prior to acceptance (2 attempts allowed)
• Pass/fail SIMs lab on day 1 including Foley catheter insertion and central line dressing changes
• Strong IV skills required (no IV team available)
• 2-day floor-specific orientation
• Navy scrubs required
• Natural hair color and no facial piercings required
• Men must be clean shaven for fit testing
• Must have own vehicle for travel
• Work with high-acuity patients including cardiac surgery recovery, IABP, CRRT, lung transplant, ECMO
• Perform high number of bedside procedures including bronchs, Swan-Ganz catheters, epidurals
• EMR system: Cerner, Telemetry: Phillips
