Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Labor and Delivery position requiring NRP and EFM certification and night shift availability.

Responsibilities

• Work in a hospital Labor and Delivery unit
• Patient ratios typically range from 1:3 to 1:4
• Night shift schedule (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) with 3 shifts per week
• Weekend shifts are required
• Floating to similar units within the facility may be required
• No on-call responsibilities
• Local candidates are accepted at the same rate as travelers
• Only one time-off request is permitted per contract
• Block scheduling is not available
• First-time travelers are not accepted for this position

Requirements

• Active MD or compact RN license
• Minimum of 2 years of recent Labor and Delivery experience required; 3 years preferred
• Certifications required: Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) and Electronic Fetal Monitoring (EFM)
• At least two professional references required for consideration
