The Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Rhode Island is seeking a Board-Certified Oncologist to provide locum coverage for its veteran patient population. This is an excellent federal opportunity offering flexibility, stable scheduling, and the ability to practice with any active, unrestricted U.S. state medical license.
• Serve veteran patients in a VA hospital setting
• Support provided by experienced clinical and administrative staff

• Degree: Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO), or equivalent, from an accredited U.S. or Canadian medical school
Accreditation must be through one of the following:
Council on Medical Education of the American Medical Association (AMA)
Association of American Medical Colleges (AAMC) / Liaison Committee on Medical Education (LCME)
Commission on Osteopathic College Accreditation (COCA) of the American Osteopathic Association (AOA)
Or another accrediting body recognized by the U.S. Department of Education at the time of degree completion
• Licensure: Must hold a current, active, full, and unrestricted license as a Physician from any U.S. state, territory, or the District of Columbia
• Board Certification: Oncology Required
• Experience: Must meet education, certification, and experience requirements as stated in the VA Performance Work Statement (PWS)
• U.S. Citizenship or Work Authorization: Required
