Flexible Block Scheduling - Ongoing Oncology Coverage in Michigan
Practice Setting
- Dedicated Outpatient setting with a focus on comprehensive cancer care.
- Extensive support staff, including 5 APPs on the inpatient team and 5 APPs at the clinic.
- Participation and collaboration on a multidisciplinary Tumor Board.
Schedule
- Monday through Friday, standard business hours (8a-5p).
- Light call rotation: 1 in 5 call ratio with weekday evening telephone call.
- Weekend rounding is supported by an advanced practice provider (APP).
Procedures and Cases
- Perform FNA/Biopsy procedures as required for patient diagnosis and treatment.
- Active role in ordering all necessary tests, images, and prescribing medications.
- Focus on Adult and Geriatric patient populations.
Requirements
- Board Certification or Board Eligibility (within 5 years) in Oncology.
- Prefer Active Michigan State Licensure.
- Must hold active BLS Certification.
- Case log demonstrating experience with FNA/Biopsy procedures is necessary.
Credentialing Requirements
- Full credentialing is a 90-day process.
