Chestnut Hill, Mass: An experienced PRIMARY CARE PHYSICIAN is invited to take the role of Medical Director in an established hospital-owned group in this historic Boston suburb. Doctors trained in family medicine or internal medicine are welcome. Prior leadership experience preferred. Laboratory, radiology and specialty services are all available onsite.Your 4 day/week schedule is broken into 8 sessions: for 7 sessions/week you will see your own patients, with the remaining session reserved for your administrative role overseeing team-based patient care and the clinical staff, conducting performance reviews, supporting hiring, mentoring and coaching, and being the point person for your physicians. Working with the practice manager and nurse manager, and partnering with Residency leadership, you will hold responsibility for ensuring staffing, and meeting quality, cost, efficiency, outcome, and patient engagement metrics while fostering a patient-centered, team-based care environment.Lead and collaborate with a team of physicians delivering exceptional care with passion and purpose, seeking the best patient experience and health outcomes. This practice is part of a healthcare system with 15 primary care locations and 1200 physicians caring for over 200,000 patients. They are affiliated with a top-ranked medical center one of the major teaching hospitals of Harvard Medical School. Teaching medical students and residents / an academic appointment with Harvard is available.
