Maintains professional accountability for provision of patient care for the assigned patients. Coordinates the patient care in conjunction with other departments. Maintains patient rights and confidentiality of patient information. Performs vascular ultrasound procedures for interpretation by physicians. Provides the patient care essential to vascular ultrasound procedures. Performs duties and responsibilities in a manner consistent with our mission, values, and Mercy Service Standards.
Position Details:Education: Graduate of a school of Sonography and completed required clinical hours OR received on-the-job training by a Preceptor who is registered in Cardiac ultrasound.
Experience: None required. Credit may be given if experience was received with on-the-job training by a Preceptor who is registered in Cardiac ultrasound.
Certification/Registration: ARDMS/RVT or ARDMS/RDCS or CCI/RVS eligible. BLS.
