SHIFT/SCHEDULE INFORMATION
Weekday shift: 8a-5p (clinic and surgery days)
Weeknight Pager call: 5p-8a yes
Weekend call: Fri 5p Mon 8a
Required Procedures: General GI- care of acute and chronic GI conditions, new patient access, endoscopies, hospital consults
Description: General GI- care of acute and chronic GI conditions, new patient access, endoscopies, hospital consults. Expect median productivity. Group will work with the locum physician on call expectations- prefer as much call coverage as possible, open to multiple candidates. Patient admits and rounding.
Typical Week: 2 full days pers week in office 8-5; 2 days in surgery; day flex
Avg Clinic Patients Per Day: 20
Typical Call Shift: Most are phone consults and cases done in OR next day

Clinic/weeknight rate/24hr pager call/Call back hourly rate included
CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS
Licensure: Active IL license
DEA Required: Yes
Board Status: Board Certified, Board Eligible (within 12 months of residency)
Required Procedures: General GI- care of acute and chronic GI conditions, new patient access, endoscopies, hospital consults
Required Certifications: BLS, ACLS no additional certs for GI
Travel: Local is ideal but not required
EMR: EPIC
