An established and leading Precision Timing & Frequency Technology Firm are looking for an Engineering Lab Manager

Engineering Lab Manager is required to support the assembly/alignment/testing of RF/Microwave electronic component assemblies, starting with PC sub-assemblies to modules to system integration.

Responsibilities:

• Generation of in-process test procedures/data sheets for PCA’s, modules and top-level system testing.
• Review of customer performance specifications (EQ spec) and customer supplied documents.
• Top level system test requirements including Thermal Cycling, Thermal Vacuum, Vibration, Shock and EMI testing.
• Generation of engineering required documentation:
• Test support for engineers, technicians, engineering associates.
• Tools (universal for RF/Microwave assemblies.
• Test equipment (specific to each program)
• Technical understanding of typical system designs:
• Passive designs (power dividers, lowpass/highpass/bandpass filters, crystal filters. 
• Active designs (oscillators, amplifiers, multipliers, phase locked loops, mixers.etc.)
• Familiarity with EEE parts selection, including characterization/evaluation, screening, traceability and derating requirements for space applications.

Education and Required Skills: 10 years Engineering background, working in Product Lifecycle Management System
