Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Labor and Delivery position requiring night shifts, the ability to float to Med Surg, and current ACLS, BLS, NRP, and PALS certifications.
Responsibilities
- Work in Labor and Delivery with coverage for postpartum and nursery patients
- Float between Labor & Delivery and Med Surg units as needed
- Position requires at least half the schedule on Med Surg if there are no OB patients
- Shift schedule is 3x12 hour nights, 7:00 pm to 7:00 am
- Weekend work required every other weekend
- Uses Meditech EMR system
- Responsible for labor, delivery, postpartum, nursery, and Med Surg patient care as needed
- Orientation to Med Surg will be provided
- First-time travelers are welcome to apply
- Two professional references required at time of consideration
Requirements
- Active RN license in MO or compact state
- Minimum of 2 years RN experience required
- Current BLS, ACLS, NRP, and PALS certifications required
- Fetal monitoring competency required
- Willingness to float to Med Surg and assist with care as needed
