As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal at a residential location, you will monitor entrances, conduct routine patrols, and help to deter security-related incidents. What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to residents, guests, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, including access control measures.
- Monitor entrances and exits to help to deter unauthorized entry into the residential location.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
- Conduct regular and random patrols around the residential property and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of activities, incidents, and/or unusual occurrences as required by site procedures.
- Work collaboratively with residents, property management, and Allied Universal team members to support a secure environment.
- Assist with emergency response activities when appropriate, following location-specific guidelines.
Minimum Requirements:
- At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
- An armed guard card or license is required.
- Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
