Schedule7:00 PM - 7:30 AM; Shift includes every other weekend.
Job DescriptionJoin our multidisciplinary team focused on providing high-quality care in an Adult Forensics/Intensive Unit. You will be responsible for meeting the needs of patients requiring complex nursing care while ensuring a safe and therapeutic environment. The program focuses on supporting patients with co-occurring disorders by promoting healing and long-term recovery.
Responsibilities- Utilize the nursing process to address individual and group needs.
- Provide clinical supervision to Mental Health Workers (MHWs) for safe care delivery.
- Implement treatment plans that address psychiatric issues alongside sobriety needs.
- Must have recent forensic experience within the last 3 months.
- 5 years of RN experience required; inpatient psychiatric experience must be within the last 3 months.
- Certification in CPI is preferred, with an 8-hour NBO added if not current.
- Must be willing to float to other units and take charge shifts.
- Submit a resume detailing psychiatric nursing experience and age groups worked with.
- Driver's license or candidate's address must be included with the submission.
