Job Description
American Traveler is seeking a Registered Nurse for a Cardiology Office position requiring a current NY RN license and BLS certification.
Responsibilities
- Position based in a cardiology office setting
- Works Monday through Friday, 8:00am to 4:30pm
- 8-week contract assignment
- No on-call responsibilities
- Provides care to patients across the lifespan, from newborns to geriatrics
- Role involves working under the direction of physicians and practice management
- Expect to interact effectively with patients and multidisciplinary healthcare team members
- No local candidates accepted; must live outside a 75-mile radius
Requirements
- Active New York RN license required
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program
- Cardiology experience preferred
- At least 1 year of experience in a medical office setting preferred
- PC or clinical data entry experience preferred
