RN Position Job Notes:
Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:
• Work on 4east unit in Main building
• 30-bed medical-surgical unit with 1:6 patient ratios
• Required to work 4 weekend shifts per 28-day schedule
• Fall into holiday rotation schedule
• Float to other units as part of rotation with other staff
• Medical-surgical experience required including respiratory diseases, renal disease, GI illnesses, telemetry, central venous catheters, indwelling catheters, and heparin drips
• Must demonstrate teamwork, compassion, collaboration, and communication skills
• BLS certification required
• Navy blue scrubs dress code required
• Use Meditech documentation system
• Work with equipment including walkers, IV pumps, and SCDs
• Patient experience requirements include 72% scores utilizing communication boards
• Support from clinical coordinators, unit secretary, PCTs, and case management
