Job Description:
- Assist licensed Physical Therapists in executing individualized treatment plans to restore strength, mobility, and functional independence.
- Lead patients through therapeutic exercises and rehabilitation activities under PT supervision.
- Observe, document, and report patient progress and response to treatment.
- Prepare and maintain therapy equipment and treatment areas to ensure safety and cleanliness.
- Educate patients and families on exercise techniques and recovery plans for continued progress at home.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members to ensure cohesive and effective patient care.
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation per facility standards and regulatory requirements.
Education and Certification Requirements:- Associate’s Degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
- Active Washington State PTA License (or eligibility to obtain prior to start).
- Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required.
- Minimum of 1 year of recent PTA experience preferred (rehab, acute, or outpatient settings).
